Institute for Study Abroad - Butler University

Hey readers! So this is probably the first post I have ever done. I thought I did one before I left, but it would seem not. Anyway, I have been in Norwich, Norfolk in England for 2 months. So far it has been AMAZING! I'm studying at University of East Anglia (UEA). It is a great school. So far I'm loving my flatmates. I live in University Village, which is as big as a village, we are a community. It has a surprisingly good night life. There are numerous night clubs in town that are always busy. One of the things that I did not realize coming to England was just how much the students here go out. Most of you in America are used to going out Friday to Sunday, Thursday if you're lucky, but here they go out any day of the week. Monday is a pretty big club night.. surprising. But be careful! This is a sure way to burn your funds. If you are serious about studying abroad save as much money as possible. You don't want to miss out on a trip because he wasted all your funds on drinking. I have not done much traveling since I've been here, but in a couple of weeks I will be traveling almost every weekend. That's another thing. If you can try to plan your modules so that you have as much free time on the weekends to go out and travel Europe. I only have class from tuesday to thursday. This way you don't have to worry about missing class. That's all for now. I will be back to tell you more soon. :)
