Almost a month until I leave!

So I haven't actually LEFT for Argentina yet, but I figure a couple blog posts before I go wouldn't hurt! I'm currently back in Oklahoma City living with my dad - have been now for a month. I go to school in Tulsa which is about 2 hours from here, so while I have the ability to drive up and see my friends I really want to put everything there on the back burner for a while until I get back.

I wish this month would go by faster! I've been doing my fair share of research about BA and… Continue

hey sorry i thought i replied to you a while ago, but apparently i posted the comment on my own page! embarrassing. but anyway, yeah, i think the flight is like 10-12 hours or something, so it will be pretty rough. since it's overnight i think i'll probably try to take something to fall asleep for a while, which will help pass the time too...less than 2 weeks till we leave--crazy! look forward to meeting you in Dallas!

I would probably fail a class called Logic. Seriously, my common sense is non-existent.. hence the art degree I'm getting. hah.

You'll do well with o*** comprehension. Not only is it easier since you've been exposed to it, Spanish is really an easy language compared to the complexity of English. It will be different in the dialect though, I have friends from colombia, peru, and argetina, and they all have different inflexions in their voices and slang they use.

I'm bringing whatever I can. haha. $2k seems to be enough for the trip So think you're fine. My family's helping me out while I'm there if they can. If not, I'm broke and in another country. At least it's another country. haha.

It is weird not to be at school now and with nothing to do. That's why I'm visiting this weekend! I wish we could figure out what classes we will be taking beforehand. And I wish we could take easy classes, like a gym class, but they limit us.

I should reeeeaaallly do something of the sort like that... like take some sort of test and such to improve on writing spanish, but, I kinda slacked on that. haha. I'm fluent in Spanish, I can speak and read it well since it was my first language. But I'm one of those cases where I can't write it because at a young age I moved to the United States and learned english as a writing language.

The upside is that I'm an art student, and I will be taking studio classes, so writing isn't really a problem. :)

Oh boy did working a hell of a ton take a toll on my grades! I received my first C in a class, and I freaked out. I still kept my 3.2 GPA though, and that's all that really matters.

How much are you taking in money for loose change? Or how much are you taking in general? I've been trying to get an estimate of how much from the people who are going, I think it's important to know ya know?

Hey there! Yes I am going to Argentina, and I'm working desperately to find ways of paying some outstanding charges to my university. Are you going to be meeting up in Dallas for the group flight?

I'll be coming from Burbank, CA. I'm stoked, and at the same time, this past 2 weeks of January have had me pulling my hair out. On top of that, my work cut my hours and now I'm slugging around trying to find stuff to do. haha.

I'm so nervous.

So how is your espanol?

Oh I had a friend who went to Tulsa but then she switched to OSU. Did it work out though? I'm pretty sure you guys have the better football team
