LGBT and Allies Abroad

A group for LGBT students who have or are looking to study abroad.

Members: 13
Latest Activity: Jun 22

The Institute for Study Abroad, Butler University, is committed to assuring equal opportunity to all persons. We do not discriminate on the basis of gender or sexual orientation in our activities, admissions, employment practices or programs.

IFSA-Butler is happy to help LGBT students explore study abroad. Non-discrimination legislation effective in some U.S. states does not always apply overseas, and laws relating to LGBT issues vary considerably from country to country. We'll work with you and our overseas universities to help you find a program that will fit you academically and socially.

Information about the state of LGBT life in each of our program countries is available on request from our Indianapolis office. Our overseas offices also have information available.
